This book takes the Gospel story on the resurrection of the daughter of Jairus as a portal to the immense legacy of our ancestors. This legend is interpreted as an image of the Sacred Marriage celebrated in Mystery Religions. Jesus and the daughter of Jairus represent the Sun and Moon in opposition in the sky, when ancient Egyptians celebrated the wedding of Osiris and Isis at the Summer Solstice in the Age of Taurus. This hierosgamos occurred on the Earth, when river Nile fecundated the land, and in heaven when the Sun faced the first Full Moon after the Summer Solstice. Jesus bending to take the dead girl by the hand symbolizes the Sun setting while the Moon rises in the East. In a mystical sense, Jesus represents our Higher Self rescuing our Lower Self represented by the Jairus’ daughter.
