his French-language catalogue was published for the exhibition Jean Boggio: Journey into the Land of Decorative Arts, 1988-2008 , presented at the Adrien Dubouché National Porcelain Museum in Limoges until October 20th, 2008. This exhibition catalogue commemorates twenty years of creation by the experienced artist Jean Boggio. From a very young age, Boggio told stories through his drawings and paintings. Later, thanks to his training as a jeweller, he turned these stories into unique object-jewels such as his famous palace rings and history necklaces. Ever since, he has been solicited by famous houses: for Daum and Baccarat, he created superb glass and bronze pieces, statuettes and glasses; for Chopard and Raynaud, items in porcelain. Then, Emaux de Longwy and the Niderviller earthenware manufacturer asked him to design new models. Afterwards, his path led to Limoges, where he worked for four years for the renowned porcelain manufacturer Haviland.
