Teachers as Course Developers is a book about how language teachers themselvesÑrather than curriculum specialistsÑdevelop and implement their own courses. A unique case study approach features the stories of six teachers who successfully designed their own courses in different settings in Japan, the U.S., and Latin America. The book provides a framework for course development which any teacher can use in planning his or her own courses. Narratives are followed by tasks and discussion questions highlighting a particular aspect of the framework.
