Julia Ribeiro is an 18-year-old Brazilian who Always dreamed of participating in a student exchange program. After the death of her grandmother, who lived in her home, her parents presented her with a 10-month student exchange program in the city of London. Upon arriving in England, she will learn much more than a language; she will find a multicultural environment and new friends who will deconstruct her naive way of thinking. Adolescence is a phase of many conflicts; without being used to freedom, Julia has diffculty in deciding what is best for her, getting involved in situations of danger, controversy and enjoyment. She will learn that every dream has its sacrifices and building your own survival manual involves moments of anguish, disappointment, joy, and pleasure.
